Methodology
Since 2005 I work as a mobile horse riding instructor. This means, that I can offer individual teaching, on your private riding premises. Additionally, for free lance coaches like me, there are increasing chances to offer lessons in existent clubs as many of them cannot employ a permanent riding instructor. Moreover, there is a tendency visible, which shows that riders want to be promoted individually. This is a very promising prospect.
Basically, I operate along the traditional principles (of the FN) and the latest results of the sport’s educational science. In addition, I take heed of to adjusting myself 100% to horse and rider by adopting psychological and didactical recognitions. The customers can take it for granted that I adjust the lessons to the rider’s age and to their riding-related knowledge. Because the horse and its needs come first in my teaching, I act after veterinary- physiological knowledges in this ambit, too.
I teach the classical, Olympic disciplines: show jumping, dressage and eventing. In my lessons I identify and evaluate problems fast and point them out frankly. You will always receive honest responses and statements, regarding set goals and reaching them. To reach the set goals faster, I do not only point out where the problem is located, I tell you why it subsists and how to solve it.
Generally, my lessons are instruction- orientated, but from time to time I work after the laissez-faire principle, so the rider is, for a short time left alone with his horse. In this way, I recognize exactly, if the rider uses the assistance I gave him and if necessary I can give him further recommendations.
If you want to work with me, contact me via e-mail or telephone and arrange a personal meeting with me. Trial lessons can be given on appointment.
