my name is Andreas Gulbis and I was born on 1966-10-03 in Bremerhaven. Since october 2005 I work as a mobile riding master in Bremerhaven, East Frisia and Ruegen.

I am, especially due to my profession, a very nature-loving person. Consequently, I like to spend my free time in nature with cycling and jogging. Swimming is one of my hobbies, too. In addition to that, reading is one of my preferred occupations. Besides the inevitable reading material of a horse riding instructor, equitation magazines and horse-related books, I am interested in nonfictional literature, e.g on the history of the equestrian sports, but also in political novels and crime fictions. Above all, riding a horse is my preferred occupation. I am the owner of an eleven-year-old mare, breeded by my father. “Ronja” is a very skilled, versatile horse. She is used in dressage up to class L and is ridden on off-road routes. In former times, I rode tournaments with her myself, but in these days I make Ronja available to young, ambitious talents. Due to the fact, that she is that versatile, I use her for work with children,too, e.g. to train the correct seat. In 2005, she has had a performance in the television series “Hallo Robbie”.

I would describe myself as a humorous, tolerant and sympathetic person. These characteristics give me the ability to adjust myself to my different learners. In addition, I am a very reliable and resolved person, my personal attitudes include openness and directness. So I indicate my pupil’s faults frankly and tell them if they are talented enough to reach their horse-related targets.
